Donna Maree Hanson is the author of Rayessa & the Space Pirates. She is an Australian author who lives near the nation’s capital, Canberra.
Besides writing and her day job, she is interested in lots of things, making costumes, baking, hat making and reading. In 2013, she is going to cram in a Masters in Creative Writing and a course in millinery and maybe another cake decorating course if she has the time, money and opportunity to do so.
Donna is also co-chair of Conflux 9, the 52nd National Science Fiction Convention to be held in Canberra in April. http://www.conflux.org.au
